AI Prime 16HD Mounting Arm Question

Hey all Prime users.
I'm building a DIY AIO nano and will be using the Prime 16 HD over it.
For the purpose of a custom mounting spot, which will allow the braket to sit above and out of the water and keeps the screw clamp back and away from the skimmer. So, I'd like to know the actual width of the aluminum bracket as well the poly screw clamp bracket.
I can't find these measurements anywhere and would grateful if a owner of one could measure and post here.

Thanks for responding. After reading review after review concerning melting lens issues and fans that stop working, I've decided to go with a different light.

I was looking for reviews on the mounting arm and stumbled upon this thread…

I wouldn’t worry about the melting as long as you don’t overpower any of the settings.

Unfortunately I believe a lot of the people who have melted lenses, myself included, followed some bad advice on maxing out certain channels above 100%.

I have other Primes that were kept below 90% output and are still going strong.

Just some food for though…

What light did you go with?

Bad advice? Their product failed. When operated as advertised, it failed.
