Algae ? Dino's ?

I have had this bright orange stuff growing on my tank glass and on the sand for about two weeks . I've tried cleaning it out every few days and each time it comes back ,sometimes quicker sometimes slower . I've looked to find what it is myself but never found anything with the same coloration . Any ideas ? And cures ?

The stuff growing on the glass is probably Diatoms. The stuff on the sand bed is most likely Cyanobacteria.
