What is this crap???? It's only on that frag plug and my tangs won't touch it.... It's confined to that but my undata is hiding in there should I just toss it???? It's the only algae in my tank so I'm baffled and greatfull it's confined lol...

Tech M is supposed to help fight it but you would have to bring up your magnesium numbers pretty fast and consistent and get them high, in order for it to work. At least that's what I heard from past posts.

From what I've heard, it's some other additive in Kent Tech M that kills it off. I've read that raising mag levels with other mag supplements, like the one from BRS, to the same levels will have little or no impact

I run my mag high 1400+ fwiw how high does it need to be????

I've read some that raised it as high as 1700 or more. It has to be done with tech m. I have it in my old system and I'm waiting to transfer my new corals into the new one. Can't take any chances with my expensive frags.

I just got rid of bryopsis in my frag tank by using Tech M. It wiped out a massive infestation in a week, the stuff works great. I added 1 ML per gallon of system volume.
