Any reason this wont work... i already starting pulling the overflow because it was to big. (10x7.5) its now going to be 9 x 4.5 or less (this was the dimension i needed with durso and return). But now i am thinking turn those 2 holes into a herbie and have 2 returns come over the top. They would split off to 2 loc lines each giving me 4 return outlets. Its an lps and zoa dominated tank. Trying not to have any power heads in the tank but I think it should be more than enough flow depending on my pump (i currently run it at 10 percent its a jaebo dct) my sump can handle over 5 gallons additional atleast so i am not worried about a siphon. Any thoughts

I'd say try it and see. Worst case scenario, you'll just have to add a powerhead later
