Aquarium Chip

Hi everyone, I just picked up this 125 gallon tank but I noticed it had a chip in it near the back side. Original owner said the tank didn’t have any leaks or problems while he was running it but I just want to make sure if it’s still safe to use because the chip may have occurred while I was bringing it home. Is this still safe or is a problem waiting to happen? The tank is made of half inch thick glass panels

I would not trust that tank...

that seal is the difference between a healthy tank and an aquariums worth of dead animals and water damage.

How deep is that chip? I’m not an expert but that would make me nervous.

yea I would definitely not get that tank either, especially with the chip being on the side
