Is this your only source of light? Only a light meter can let you know, but that looks suspect to me... too much light spill out of the tank with the lights not close enough to the water.

The fact that they are laid out in an 'X' is perfectly OK. Yes as jda says, some light will 'spill' out of the tank.

I'd question that what you have there is enough light for keeping corals long term. Do you know the make and model of the fixtures? Or how many leds and at what wattage?

I know led lights look really bright, but you'd be surprised at how some bright leds can have really low PAR levels.
