How bad is this for them?

My tank is out of control right now. Can't seem to figure it out, installing a water softener tomorrow, and an Rodi unit next week.

Yup sponges...they can cover some coral. Best bet is too increase flow if u want them gone or pick them off the zoa.

Thanks for the reply.

Will they harm coral, I can move them up slightly into direct flow. I'm guessing they won't like it though.

If the ZOA's r happy there and u don't want the sponge just peel it off. Most come off fairly easily.
