I decided to do an ATI ICP test and there were quite a few readings in the red. How do I fix some of these and are these items I need to be concerned with?

I do a 5 gallon water change each week on a 160 gallon system (total water volume) using reef crystals salt.

The first photo is the RODI water which is good on everything except Silicon seemed high? The second photo is the tank water results

There’s a few ways to dose trace elements.
I think the iodine is the only one that I would want higher. It’s important for lots of things and believe of the trace elements it’s actually the one in most abundance in sea water.

You could do increase feeding, iodine is pretty easy to get from fish foods.
Another way to cover most trace elements could be like the Red Sea trace elements. But if you do go about dosing, it’s always good to measure. There’s the trace test kits. Or do like a couple icps to determine how much is used up and dose to match the decline and then test to see if you got a good schedule.
I don’t recommend like a concentrated iodine dosing right away, too much iodine is lethal.

I’d consider experimenting with iodine. You may or may not see a difference. I didn’t. A trace element mix such as TM A and K is one way to add some trace elements.

Nothing else looks notable to me, but watch tin over time that it does not rise more. It can be toxic and can come from plastics where it is used as a heat stabilizer.

Ill purchase an iodine test kit and some iodine and bring that back in range.

What equipment would cause an increase in tin?

Plastics can contain it. One person traced it to their flexible tubing, but I don’t think we know or have much way to know which plastics contain tin.

I Use some thick flexible tubing for my UV. Ill do another ICP in a few months to see where the levels are

The tin issue is tricky because it is widely approved for use, even in food contact and medical products. No company tells buyers what ingredients are in the plastics it uses.

Do you run your UV 24x7? It took me more than a year to finally figure why my Tin was always elevated and SPS slowly dieing away. It's been documented that UV breaks down plastic. That problem is usually reported on "cheap" UV sterilizers, but I have an Aqua Ultraviolet, considered one of the best brands. That black stuff is what I wiped off from the inside of the tube. I would normally run my UV periodically , it was after I started running it 24x7 I started losing corals. Within 3 days after removing the UV, I have noticed SPS starting to heal.
