So far I like them. They are definitely different from my last setup of using bubble magus dos.

I'm still just using a jebao dp4 and only one head has stripped in a year but I still expect to see a puddle sometime soon.

I use two sets of the old somatic stacked dosing containers. I bought them used for next to nothing, there is no way I would’ve bought them new at $110 a pair. I’m not home to take a pic but here is one I found online of a set

Before getting them I used half gallon milk jugs.

What do you think of those BRS dosing pumps?
I actually had no problems with them for years. So yes I like them. Not that I needed to but I did replace the inner tube after 5 years on 2 of them which was super easy.

Well I use a Neptune DDR which I paid waaaaay too much for. After the electronics broke several times, I ripped everything out and now just have and expensive acrylic dosing container.

I use 2 Simplicity containers because they look very clean and tells me exactly how much I have left in the container. It just gives me one more indicator aside from Red Sea's ReefDose keeping track of how much Alk/Ca is left

There is actually a diy hack that allows you to get the ddr tile to show up without having a ddr connected.

I am actually setting up a Somatic 60 sump for my 40 cube those would be nice to have. I have some new in box Vertex 250s stackables that I am going to use. Those are a piece of art!

HDPE: high density polyethylene. Aka vinegar bottles. Works perfect for my sodium hydroxide high ph solution.

We're continuing our theme for the week discussing dosing, dosing methods, dosing equipment etc. Today let's talk about dosing containers and share photos of what we're using!

Do you use a "made for dosing" container or just anything that will hold liquid? Show us a photo!

I did the food grade container but then went to acrylic units for a clean uniform look and now use 20 gallon black acrylic cubes custom made and love them

Yep I believe they were designed to be used with that sump and fit where they angled the corner of the sump off.
Im not familiar with a stackable vertex container, the only ones I know of are the Libra containers. I’m sure they’re nice though, Vertex made really good quality products. It’s a shame they went under.

Nice....I will have to research that. Would be nice to have the tile back again, even if it doesn't work as it originally did.

I just connected the wires together, the board is unnecessary.
I ended up pitching everything. The optical sensors would malfunction almost monthly...even with cleaning and maintenance. The board had to be replaced at least once also due to the design of the DDR.
