How's your damsel do with your other fish?

the Azure damsel has been peaceful. I purposely sought the azure type since they’re supposed to be the least aggressive. Doesn’t bother anyone but the royal gramma and clown show some aggression toward it.

Picked up this torch with 6 heads today from the LFS not bad for $120 given the crazy online prices.

this is right after coming out of the dip so it’s a bit mad right now.

Lavey was right about the SPS difficulty with a new tank. Both birds nest didn’t survive but the green slimmer still looks the same as day 1 so I’m holding out hope it’ll start encrusting. Here’s a pic from today.

Aqua UV came in, install turned out a bit more bootleg then I was envisioning in my head. Wanted it for the clarifying aspect and algae/bacterial control so plumbed straight to the return pump. Falls within AquaUV’s recommended flow rate.

Hi

I am planning to do the same thing. What flow rate did you use on your return? I read on the Aqua UV chart to get algae/dinos/bacteria it recommends 500-700gph?
Have you got good results using that much amount of gph?
I been reading people say have low flow rates works best for dinos and bacteria?
