I bought a two clowns (one medium sized and one smaller) 3 months ago. They were fine right away, and then eventually started bickering per usual for a pair to start bonding - the female would harass the male and he would twitch. Some days would be better than others, and I let them do their thing. This had gone on for the last 2.5 months or so, which I’ve read isn’t out of the picture. However, the beating had gotten worse with the male losing some color and getting his fins nipped - he had to hide in the back under a frag rack.

Today I found him dead… What should I do with the female? Get another male and hope they pair? Get rid of the female and start over? The female isn’t aggressive to my hand and only gets mad at my firefish when they’re competing for food.
