Banggai breeding again... He's Spitting the babies days apparat, never seen that before?

Hi all.

My Cardinals did breed lots of times before, this time I've seen something I never seen before..... The Male did spit 2 babies friday aftennoon, today its monday evening and he still Got a very Big mouth. I have never seen this before? He use to spit between 25-30 fryes.

Did you ever experince something like this? That he's releasing the fryes slowly over many days???

Your welcome vic67..... This morning there was ONE more....... Mabye thats the way it works In nature..... Spitting the fry over days to maximize the survival rate for the fry? He'd always used to spit them all at once.....

Wedensday there was one more...
Today thuesday when i woke up he'd spit a potion more. Now there is 21 youngsters. He's still NOT eating, so mabey Therese a little left in his mouth?
Last time there was 27 in all.
