I apologize for my post above as I realize your looking for some answers.

It looks like your RD 80 watt pump may run on 10v but I am not 100% sure. Have you tried contacting Royal Exclusiv customer service and asking them for their advice on the exact model you’re running?

I have not contacted them yet. Was hoping for a quick answer to prevent a flood until I get the new tank gasket installed. Expecting thunderstorms for the next few days and a bit nervous about power outages.

Yeah, he is using 3 or 4 different things spliced and hooked together and I’m not good or comfortable about my ability to do that kind of stuff.

I wouldn’t do anything until you confirm the operating voltage of your pump.
