1 vote for Zoox scraper, i've tried Tunze (a bit loose) and Flipper (quite big, the blade is not good at all) then happy with Zoox, they have the Nori feeding at same place as weel

I have one and I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but i just don't feel like it scrapes very well at all. I went back to Mag Float and got their new Stealth Large and am having a bit better luck, but taking much care to avoid getting any sand in there.OMG! I've just been using a magnetic scrubby cleaner up until now because I had assumed the name brand one I bought was the cat's pajamas.
I purchased the Tunze Care Magnet because of this thread, and just used it. I didn't know cleaning the glass could be a life-altering event. This thing is amazing.
Do you have the right magnet for your tank glass? I had a similar issue until I figured out it was too weak for my tank. Once I upgraded magnets I have yet to have blade dullness issues.I have the Tunze with metal blade but I find that even a new blade is way to dull to clean the glass like I want it. so I bought a wet stone from Amazon 400 grit one side 1000 grit on the other side. I remove blade, soak wet stone in warm water for 15 minutes then work both edges of one side of blade for 5/10 minutes, then flip around and do the other side. If you never used a wet stone recommend watching a couple of Utube videos. The difference between a Dull and sharp blade is amazing. I get about 3 cleaning sessions per side of blade before changing out the blade to a new sharp one. Haven’t had to buy a new three pack of blades in over three years
It is expensive but it is one of the few where you can easily get replacement pieces for anything that you feel has worn out.I like my Tunze as well. So expensive though.
truth be told I gave up on magnetic scrapers. What do folks think are the best glass scrapers these days (1/2" glass)?
I know many folks like the magic erasers, but I’m not a fan of the concept of releasing all those particles of plastic into the water.truth be told I gave up on magnetic scrapers.
I have an extendable handle style scraper that I use occasionally.
Otherwise I clean the glass with magic erasers.

I offered up a $20.00 Canadian scraper which no one responded to. Available on AmazonI know many folks like the magic erasers, but I’m not a fan of the concept of releasing all those particles of plastic into the water.

It's just a foam pad, I would not have thought it released anything, there are quite a few members here who use them, I've been using them for 6 months or so now.
I've had the same one for years now! Great for hard to clean spots and around the sandline!I offered up a $20.00 Canadian scraper which no one responded to. Available on Amazon![]()
With patience, yes it does…What do you use for the tough stuff at the bottom of the tank? My flipper max doesn’t get it and it’s starting to build. Does the tunze get that stiff as well?
If you're talking about the bottom 3/4-1" of the front panel/sides the back blade of the tunze at an angle works great for thatWhat do you use for the tough stuff at the bottom of the tank? My flipper max doesn’t get it and it’s starting to build. Does the tunze get that stiff as well?
