Hello all, what would be the best way to kill algae from around base of coral. I tried small blue legs but I guess they are unable to get between branches to consume. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bye the way birdsnest corals are well known to not encrust at the base . They have a rep for bare ankles.
A YouTube video the guy glued them sideways to the plug, he said that they encrust better.
