also, added a mystery wrasse but not sure if he will make it

That jawfish burrow is an awesome idea! Did he go straight for it when you put him in the tank?

i put him in a tupperware bowl and cut a hole in the top to fit over the barnacle. he basically went straight in. prob the coolest fish i have, stays halfway in his burrow and follows me everytime i pass the tank. very curious about anything that is moving outside the tank

I'm diggin on your 40b I have one laying around hmmmm... Inspiration!

very nice work on that stand and light set, really like you jawfish tube also

cleaned out my sump, removed the rock, and added more flow to it. was having a problem with detritus building up.

very nice!! love the stand and the light fixture! the light is what i would love to do to my wifes 40B! also the jawfish tube is a great idea! she is wanting some in our next tank after we move i may try and put in several of those in and around the rock work and sand bed!

never thought about it alex, but thats an awesome idea to help with hiding places for fish

....thanks for the comments guys

Nice tank! Looking really good. Aren't you worried about the heat inside the housing were the meanwells are? I'm debating if enclosing them to protect from humidity and salt but the heat they produce freaks me a bit

Thanks Sam...was looking at your build a little while ago, very clean! I don't think the meanwells produce enough heat to really be worried about them. If you are though, you can always put a small fan sucking air out of your box. I like having them in the box, keeps all the wires and connections tidy and hidden

thanks, I though about the fan bu then makes no sense to put them in an enclosed box if I wanted to prevent the humidity and salty environment cause the fan will suck it up. I does work for a clean look and hide wiring though. However, I may do the same as you. Right now all the mess I have in my cabinet comes from the drivers and controller
