One year ago, on May 11th, this tank got wet, so we are celebrating its first birthday!

This first year has been a huge learning experience. Starting from dry rock, focusing heavily on building the biome, and constantly chasing pH, this tank has done 100x better than my first reef from a couple years ago.

Losses have been minimal, and now that stability is finally being worked on, things are really starting to grow. STABILITY really is everything.

Honestly amazed that everything survived all my tinkering but seeing the tank mature and come alive makes it all worth it.

Thanks!! I was scared… they always say most people dont make it a year in this hobby!! So this first year i feel is big!! Now I have the want bigger bug!!

Thanks!!! Tried to follow the opposing color in the pallet rule but as the tank matures and things color up better it will improve
