BRS Rox 0.8 carbon alternative

Hi there just curious what people's experiences are with using other, possibly more cost effective carbons are..

I use that exact same TLREEFS stuff off of Amazon.
No complaints but I only run it periodically just to do.

It has good reviews on Amazon but that's about all I can say:

Use a mesh bag over the outflow tubing and it will solve any problems with ROX carbon
