I love this piece. When they get big and start showing the transition in polyp color it really shines

After being cut and transferred to the new tank my BC Space laser stalled out but I am happy to see it growing again.

They look to be the same species to me, but it looks like WWC all star has a bit more blue on the tips than Merlin's.

I'm tempted to ask Steve what he thinks Merlins Staff was species wise.

After finding this thread today it has become probably one of my favorite threads!!! You have some amazing corals and your pics/videos are amazing too!

I picked up the merlins staff from the CC live sale specifically to compare it to the All-star. It arrived a little beat up so I’ll give it a couple months to compare.

Haven't really been active lately but I spent the time to dig for this post. Coral pics are cool and all but these tangs should be the priority @bubbaque. :D

The tangs are awesome! Unfortunately they like to bully the smallest yellow tang, well the powder blue mostly does.

Powder blues are definitely jerks. Mine has beat up his fair share of tank mates in his day.

A very nice acro that is budget friendly is the Paletta pink tip. I took two pics of it, one under 14k and the other under all blue.
