So I'm curious are you running an acclimation mode when you place new acros or just move them up over time? I just bought a SQ-120 and got it hooked up to a multimeter so the PAR reading fun will begin!
No acclimation mode. I usually place new corals in the corners of the tank for a couple weeks and just slowly move them to where I think they will do well. That Sunday driver frag I got at the beginning of the month has been in the corner until a few days ago. Now it’s in its final place but I still watch it daily to see if polyps retract or it’s losing color.

I’m sure it’s something I’m totally over looking but what is SD?

I’ve only had it 3 weeks so not much of a change yet. It’s encrusted a little more but basically looks the same.

Was this with the new lens?

If so it looks like more of the photo is “in focus”

Great shot bubba
No this was with a 60mm lens. I’ve only used the new lens on that Pink Floyd and grape juice pic so far.

So I think I'm reading between the lines here. Justin says the new lens is an out of focus piece of garbage. The old lens is beautiful. Harsh man. :p

Bubba...any time you want to come up to NC and take pics for me, I'll have the smoker ready.

That is just awesome and a great accomplishment to say the least.
Thanks !

Very nice, what size tank is that and how big are those chromis (they look huge)
I love my chromis! Not a very colorful fish but the way they group I can’t get enough of. I’ve had them a few years and I’d say they are 3”. The biggest chromis I’ve seen in an aquarium. I originally bought 6 and still have all 6. I know most people seem to struggle with them but I think the amount and frequency I feed keeps them happy.
