I don’t process them. I just take it off the camera and upload it to YouTube.

If you’re having white balance issues it’s the Nikon. Nikon doesn’t allow you to white balance anything over 10k and that’s why I switched over to Canon. Canon allows you to easily make a custom white balance under reef lighting.
As always, stunning.

Any quick guide on how to prepare that custom white balance on a Canon??

Thank you very much!!!

Bubba I know you don't need me to state it, but AMAZING.

I've worked backwards from this page from 216 to 206 and now I am on page 3 moving forwards from the start. As a new reefer I am amazed at the knowledge and professionalism that so many people to their reefs.

I noted a couple of posts above that you are feeding your own recipe - do you mind sharing? Edited to add: at present I exclusively feed frozen. I would consider pellets except haven't required to at present as whenever I have been on vacation I have always been lucky enough to have a house sitter. I expect to be able to continue with a largely frozen diet in the future, regardless of if that is store bought or home built!

Could you give a general recipe for what you are feeding?
I took some pics as I needed to make some today. The ingredients are tilapia, shrimp, scallops and this time I added reefroids. Total cost was $14 and makes twice as much, if not more than lrs reef frenzy.

Here are the ingredients

I cut the middle and a little bit of the fish tails off as I find it had to blend.

I cut the fish into chunks to make it easy to blend.

Added a little reef roids and I blend only half of the food at once so I can have fine particles and some large

Here it is bagged up and ready to freeze.

I add maybe a cup of RODI water to help it blend. You can add more or less depending on how thick you want it. I try to have it a little on the watery side so when I have it thaw out it comes apart easy and isn’t fish paste.

Thanks again for this ! ! I really need to start doing this as getting LRS is becoming a chore around here.

Have you ever added any vitamins or roe to it?

I have not but adding roe seems like an interesting idea.

I was just researching how to make my own food and looking into food processors and see that you are using a blender so this will save me some money. Thanks for sharing this with us and helping us save some money. Tank looks amazing. Need to come see you soon for some new coral.
