Bought this bubble tip anemone yesterday and last night it’s wandered between my corals, I’ve left it for now as maybe it decided to move while the lights were off and will go back today now the lights are on

How long should I let it wander around before interfering…

I was hoping it would stay where I put it in this photo 😂 IMG_7866.jpeg

The anemone is just settling in. It might wander for a couple of days until it finds a place it wants to stay. Even still, it might continue to move once it gets tired of the place it is "established" in. Typical anemone behavior.

^^^ yep, agree 💯! Mine moved 6 months after I was sure it was happy!

And just when you think it found its forever home, plot twist and it moves again.
So true! I had to set up what I call “the wall of shame” because my prize bta decided to go hang out with my frogspawns! 😂

It’s currently sat next to zoas which aren’t happy, :( shall I just wait it out for a bit? image.jpg

I have never seen anyone recommend trying to move an anemone that is still settling in. First, you risk tearing their foot, which would be deadly. Even if you successfully move it without injuring it, anemones will go where anemones want to go! There are anemone cannons that I’ve heard people successfully use but I have not ever tried one so I can’t speak to their effectiveness. I know you’re in a tough spot with the zoas sulking but I’d wait a few days and see if it continues to move. In my personal experience, it would be safer to move the zoas if they are still on frag plugs.

The frags are glued in :/ hopefully it will move again tonight

It is probably looking for the right flow and light. Wait and see is always the hardest part of having a nem!
