Hi guys so im new to the hobby and just wondering what a decent budget light would be for my 34g tank?

I'm only looking at getting some softies and maybe a few zoas.

Budget is roughly $150 - 200

I use a nicrew 100 watt on my 32 gallon, it works perfectly for me and it fits into your budget. It grows both softies and sps corals just fine.

Nicrew 100 or noopsyche k7. I prefer noopsyche and you can just get a second one when you upgrade to a 75/90.

I have never seen these. Look interesting. Wondering how they would work as supplemental lighting. 2 x 48" bars across my 300g

I use a current loop lcd they make different sizes and you can control the disk and dawn periods and light settings and they are not very expensive.

This is what i have... been using these a few years now. Change them once a year. Currently have 3 over my 40b. On a 30g Id use 2.

I have a glowrium and like the spread on 20 long. Light color is a bit on the teal side.

Noopsych k7 gets a lot of love here as a budget light with good control and color. If I had to do it over for my 50 gallon that would be the way I’d go.
