Here the zoas I bought .the green radio active they sold me them as on the rockwork next to the nuclear green palys I already had and then the zoa rock on sandbed that gkt some green zoa with some pink/ peach zoa next to them but these 2 green ones under lfs blue leds I swear looked yellow lol
Here they are under 2x marine blue t5 and 2 sunlight t5 and then more bluer with just the 2 marine blue but still both zoa are green.but next on my list is change these 2 white t5's bulbs out and get 1x actinic blue and one coral plus or even 1x purple I not decided yet but I like the more bluer look and the fluorescent colours in corals rather than natural sunlight look as think look drab

I like purple tentacle, pinkish tipped torch I got also and the stylo quite cool.i made a bridge connecting both my rickworks together and started a zoa garden there in mid tank hight and will gauge how quickly they grow and see if want it growing on main rickwork or not.which I think looks cool if does so not that bothered I think anyway ^_^
But got now green and green zoa and green with purple tentacles so they be ok 20211106_164213.jpg
All are very nice. A bit of variety goes a long ways. It is odd how things change color under different lights.

Yeah I'm happy with them and even though whilst they in the coral dip container and then my tank water rinse container after and used phone and zoomed in.only thing I seen was them things in the green slimer and nothing else .but now the zoas in the container I think I have introduced my first aiptasia to my tank ( well 3 of them on the mixed zoa rock ) im uploading a video at momemt so will tag you in my thread so not disrupt your build thread more than needed. I think they aiptasua anyway or if not some kind nem really small inbetween zoa polyps lol

Today's to do list.

Remap my par. Test my seneye readings against another posters light % and par meter . Will I get close enough readings with the same distance? I am rather curious about all of this.

Get some updated photos of the aquarium inhabitants.

This will be the reference post I will be using.

After further looking @kittenbritches settings I am confident the seneye 4.0.8 is probably fixed from the issues of the 4.0.6 hub.

With this post here,
I used the Apogee Quantum Flux MQ-200. The top PAR reading is right at the surface of the water — 9.5" from the light.

I would have done this sooner. It took seneye long enough to update my meter and get things working.

With this information I will mimic her customization and record from there. Other than that. I think I will make lasagna and garlic bread and yell at the ghosts in the abandoned houses.

Also, enjoying my cappuccino as of right now.

I agree with spinoid worms. Have some on one of my torches and they’ve never seemed to bother it. No known natural predators. Limited feeding and nutrients will slow down their spread and keep them at bay.
They say that bumblebeesnails feed on these. I have a BBs in my tank. Cant say I have seen a difference..but to quote my girl tay tay 'that's what people say'

I just reread that...nope, old fat white guy can't pull tay tay off.

Just some photos. These blastos are getting greener.

I may need to turn water flow off on this one.

I thought this was just a fun photo.

Pavona. My camera has a stalker!

Hard to see, slimer is beginning to return to green!

Along the edge closest to the bottom, the orange is visable in the polyps. Green skirt, orange centered polyps.

Zoas. They are just zoas.

Time to program lights while lunch is cooking. lasagna for the day.

Also, the sponge on this rock is difficult to see. It is a murderous monster. I have to return to scrubbing off the survivor.

So, chasing numbers is a thing. I guess I am chasing par. My bta is a very delicate piece of life. I like accuracy.
I have not tested many lights. So far I could recommend NP k7 lights. At this time frame so far.
comparing KB's par meter vs my seneye, numbers are not far from each other.
Copied from @kittenbritches post.
If you are interested at all, I say give her thread a view. She did record her par numbers. TY @kittenbritches ;Joyful

Channel A Channel B Channel C Channel D Channel E Channel F
Time White Light Blue Blue UV Red Green & Blue
6:00:00 AM 0% 1% 1% 1% 0% 0%
7:00:00 AM 1% 10% 10% 3% 0% 10%
8:00:00 AM 2% 30% 30% 25% 1% 30%
9:00:00 AM 5% 80% 80% 50% 2% 80%
5:00:00 PM 5% 80% 80% 25% 2% 80%

7:00:00 PM 2% 30% 30% 5% 1% 30%
8:00:00 PM 1% 10% 10% 3% 0% 10%
9:00:00 PM 0% 0% 1% 1% 0% 0%

You can ignore time frame. I was just testing my par levels. I posted this information in her thread to compare numbers.
I don't plan on recording anymore par numbers for awhile. There was no change in my current settings.

Powerful lights, you could really cook some coral. Downside, you may not like the controller, you may not like the fan noise, you might not like the claw that you mount the unit with. All in all I have no issues. I have goniopora coming back from the grave, I thought for sure were gone.

So this light has been a good thing ?
Yes it has, the bta hasn't lost his bubbles either.
Corals are looking great! Love the orange coloration of your nem... beautiful!!
tyvm! He's developing some yellow streaks, I don't think they will keep. I still don't understand the 2 tone color pattern he has.

Goni polyps are growing.

I was trying to get a picture of the different buds on the blasto, you can tell they are not pleased.
side.jpg

I tried to get some top down shots. My little one said other wise, I also tried to get pictures of the scopa. She said no. She misses the old phone camera. I'll get a new one here soon. She's looking very good and fat. top00.jpg

Some very nice growth on one of the birdnests. Lots of little nubs.

I am forgetting a lot of things here. I'll remember and forget again.

Why are top down shots so colorful? Serious question.
