Cad lighting 50 gallon professional series

Does anyone else own one of these? I got one and have to say that I'm not only disappointed I'm concerned with the integrity of the tank and stand. It is very difficult to get ahold of customer support with cad. I've left messages and emails and no replies. I'm just wondering if anyone else is concerned with the build quality.

I have the 40 G Artisan and my only comment is that the stand sucks, but the tank itself is great!

I agree, I have the 50g you have as well. The Tank is really nice. The stand is not at all up to the same quality as the tank. Very hard to get a hold of them. My shipment was delayed a few times. And everytime it was for a different reason. none of which seem to be true. then they forgot the plumbing. I can say once I got a hold of them they were helpful in getting it to me pretty quickly.

My concern is that when they drilled the holes for the plumbing they did a terrible job and left chips in ghe glads around the hole. This makes a tight seal impossible. I guess I'm just worried that the whole thing is of terrible build quality.

I have the 40g Artisan and I agree with most people said above. The stand and plumbing SUCKS! I had to drill out the existing holes to fit standard bulkheads. The tank itself is really nice though, glass quality is good, seams match up better than some of the other tanks I've seen. Overall I'm happy, just wouldn't buy the stand again.

Don't worry about the chip just make sure you silicone the bulkhead.
