I love anthias. They are the quintessential reef fish to me.

I knew I wanted a set for this tank, and I knew I DID NOT want clowns :face-with-tears-of-joy: - They're super personable. They're all over the place and they really do seem to draw out the other fish as well. I'm really excited to watch this one change coloration.

My experience with Anthias sp. is limited to Lyretails and Dispars. Is there anything I should know about bimaculatus in particular?

Small update:

Beelzebub kept knocking Buddha over and hiding inside him, so I bought a fake cave from work since the built rock caves I was trying for him weren't cutting it. He moved over immediately. There's a bit of an algae situation on Buddha but I'll get him cleaned up... Oddly enough, the rocks are super clean still.

Today I ordered 2 of the 3 remaining fish on the wish list for the peninsula.

Black leopard still waiting though.

I also ordered a file for the cube because w/out the Stripey keeping aiptasia under control it's starting to spread from the sump back up. My ponies eviscerated the attempted peppermint addition.... Shrimp just are not in the cards for me in any tank, apparently.

I also ordered some salt conditioned mollies for the cube, and a kuda pair....

I have a problem, yes, I know.

I saw gogol Bordello at the 9:30 club here in DC back in 2012 /13. Phenomenal show!

Absolutely one of the best shows I've ever been to. We got to see them down here at Jannus for their Solidaritine tour a couple years back. Probably one of the few bands I'd willingly suffer the crowds for again.
