This clam is only a week in the tank. And it got bit by a fish. I don't know what to do now, and it does not look so good.

It is gapping, typically not a good sign, and the mantle is retracted. If a fish is pestering the clam repeatedly the clam will not expand fully and thus not receive adequate lighting to meet it's nutritional needs.
Is the clam still retracting to shadow?
Is the fish still present and what type of fish?
Is this a Crocea?

It is still sensitive to light,

It is Crocea. In the afternoon the gap will shirk a bit, and the mantle extend a bit more. I removed the fish from the tank yesterday after I saw the damage. The fish is a splendid dottyback.

Hmmm interesting, I have never had problems with Dottybacks and Clams.

The best thing you can do is make sure the clam is getting intense lighting at least 200 par. Make sure the clam placement is stable and the clam can not fall. The clam can detach from the cradle and walk around. Don't move the clam around the tank unless you have to. Moderate indirect flow.

A healthy clam should be able to heal. There might always be a pinched area.

Good Luck

:)

Thank you! I will keep an eye on it.

The one fish bite should be no problem as long as the bitting stop. Continue harassment by fish will kill the clam. Your Crocea looks very stressed. You need to keep other animal in the tank from bothering it and give it clean good water and high light.
Good luck
I never have problem with dottyback and clams either. Crocea tolerates a very wide variety of current so flow is not really very important for Crocea, as long as the mantel does not get fold over due to current.

This is my setting, I have already removed the fish. Also I have a tiger conch snail, I got mixed information online about it being a potential clam eater, what do you think? And thank you for replying.

What are your settings for your AI Prime? It’s not a very strong light. I see you have the clam high up and centered so that’s good.

It is 60% white and 45% blue, 15% red and green. I’m trying to rent a par meter, but I do not have a good source right now.

To give you an idea, I have prime on a 15 gallon 12” depth set at 80% blue for softies for 12 hours a day, mainly zoa’s and mushrooms. It’s not a strong light at all, you really need to turn it up.

Keep in mind that the AI Prime only has 4 white LEDs and 8 blue LEDs, plus the other individual colors. You will need to turn that light way up to provide the nutritional needs of that clam. I would bring those blues and whites up to 80% gradually, possibly even all of the channels up to 80%. AI Primes have a lens melting problem, so you may not want to go much higher than 80%. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think I turned the light down before because after I turned it to 80 percent, it bleached my octospown and some hammer coral… I will try to bring it up slowly. Thank you!

Crocea required very high light. It often get exposed, out of the water in low tide. IMO it is one of the highest light requiring animals we keep in our reef.

I found a post that has tested AI light with a measured par reading. I will try to match it and make sure it receives 200+ par.

Can I ask how long you turn on the light? I see the clam looks better approximately 30 minutes after the light is turned on. Maybe I’m underlighting it, and also did not provide a long enough photoperiod.

What are you running for your schedule? Ramp up and down? You could also post a screen shot from the app showing the daily schedule the light is following.

Well, it looks more stressful now… does not react to light anymore…
