Can you ID this thing ?

It looks like some sort of slug with a single horn. It is starting to get some darker color to it's back and horn, since the last time I saw it. It's about an inch long. This time I found it on the glass.

A nudibranch, indeed...and appears to be the variety commonly found preying on soft corals. Did you recently by a leather (finger or toadstool) or Clavularia polyps?

Regardless, as lovely as they are, the order is almost entirely carnivorous and not likely to live long at all unless you have and are willing to feed it its obligate prey (coral, sponge, etc)

Moreover, be vary careful handling them. Squishing against the glass is not recommended. It has sent more than a few people to the hospital. Do check your local club to see if anyone studies or photographs them. It would be a shame to euthanize them if you dont have to.

Nudibranch, that did cross my mind. I haven't picked up any new corals in a bit now. I do have a leather but I have had it forever. I did get some Clavularia polyps about 6 months ago. It could have come from them. I have not noticed it eating anything though. It's always on the move. Even if I want to get rid of it, I'll have to wait until I see it again.

Looks to long to be a stomatela snail.
I think its a nudibranch too. But not sure which one.

Nudi's usually don't last long since they only feed on some special diets. If you haven't added any new corals or live rocks for long, then the chance of being nudi's is very little. I bet they are just stomatela snails.
