I bought this chalice when it was eroding away hoping that I could save it. It's gotten much worse and I fear it may be too late. Any advice? SG is 1.026 Nitrate 0 Phosphate 1 Calcium 470 Alk 10.

I would cut it in half and hope that spurs new growth. +1 to low light, low flow, and feeding.

Put that thing down on the sand bed. Too much light. Instant killer. Most Lps need to have lower light levels. That includes hammers, acans, scollies, dendros, etc, etc.

Sorry I missed that part. Lol
Revive is a coral dip that is very helpful. And its very gentle on the coral.

If the chalice was in a shaded area first, and it was still eroding, then too much light is not your problem.

Buying a dying chalice might not have been the best decision. Also is your phosphates 1? Or .01? Huge difference. If it is 1, then that right there could be your problem.
