If I have clownfish what other clown fish can go with them?

Clowns get along really well with many other fish. I think we would need to know your size of tank, whether it is a reef or just fish only. More info would help with what stock would be good for you! :)

Note - if you plan to add more clowns, be careful. If you end up w/ 2x females in the tank - it could be a fight to the death.

You don't want to get a different species of clown but if you do your research and are careful about the fish you pick another oscellaris should be fine.

So what about a Darwin clown or a Red Sea clown?

The Red Sea clown is a different species so no. The Darwin is an oscellaris clown so that would be fine if you got a very small juvi, smaller than your current clown, that hasn't turned female. The one you have has likely already turned

A snowflake or Darwin would probably work, both are oscelaris, but you need to get one that is young, smaller than your other clown or you risk it having turned female already. Still no guarantee things will work out but chances are better.

Thank you for the information. What other fish go well clowns and firefish in a 75. I had ciclids before I did salt water and the killed each other I don't know if I want to risk that with high dollar darwins or snowflakes.

On a small note too, I would not get the biggest clown in the tank they have at the lfs (even if it's smaller than your current) because it will most likely be a female as well. Extra reassurance to hope to not have a female

there is a good chance that your current female will most likely punk the new guy just to show dominance fyi. I got two clowns at the same time but the female did that for a couple days to make sure the male knows his place lol

I don't know how fast they convert, but being the biggest clown in your tank (and only, right?), there's a good chance its set

They are all born male, according to National Geographic. They have the ability to turn themselves female, but once the change is made, they can’t go back to being male. Sometimes the change is made when mating. Two males will become mates and the larger, dominant fish will become the female.

These social fish live in groups that are led by one dominant female, according to the ADW. The second largest fish is the dominant male while all of the other fish in the group are smaller males. If the female dies, the dominant male will become a female to replace her. The largest of the smaller males will then become the dominant male of the group.

Adding a third clown could be dicey. It may work, it may work for a while, or it may not work from the start. If it doesn't work it will likely be the newcomer that is killed. If it were me I wouldn't try.
You could get a cardinal fish, or a watchman goby, a royal gramma, an orchid dotty back. Maybe a dwarf angle. There are a lot of options for a 75.
