I have a HDPE panel on the back, so I can screw in fasteners to that.

This will be the most boring plumbing job. No manifold, no Tees, just straight lines down and up, with a union and gate-valve along the way.

I don't run any chemical media so have no need for reactors or driving anything via the return pump

What the heck are reactors!? ;)

Tank should arrive this week. Painting plywood top this weekend. Sump arrived last week. Illusions of leak testing by Friday.

Sadly, the Orphek may be the long poll. I've been waiting ~2 months for BRS to get them in stock. If I ordered from Orphek directly, it will still be 2+ weeks. Worse case, I'll run the Mitras for a bit

"boring" plumbing is the way to go. I've had enough struggles with simple plumbing I wanted to pull my hair out. BUT if you've got a straight shot to the sump, I'm sure it'll be easy enough. Looking forward to the progress :)

Trust me when I say, that is a very wise move.

Just sitting here and ;Drool ing over your tank shots.

Thank you!

Is the overflow box made out of glass too?

I believe it is. They call it a scupper box. Most external overflows are add-ons to a glass box, drill some bulkheads and add a small interior and exterior box. In this tank, the back piece of glass is cut and a glass overflow box sits externally. It's custom, so it could be one hole or a dozen.

I'm putting the tank into a weird corner, so I had room for a small box on the left, but not all the way across. So 2 drains rather than 3.

I'm really excited to have no overflow inside the tank. It's just a box of water. It's the look I prefer, if I didn't go custom I'd get the Max E-260 over the Reefer for that reason.

I went Eurobraced because once you add an acrylic lid to a rimless tank, it basically looks like Eurobrace already.

Dying to see more pics! I didnt notice the integrated overflow and am looking forward to some close ups. I priced out a similar design with Tank Me USA and quote came back upwards of 7k though admittedly that quote was loaded with almost every add on they offer.

A few teasers. The tank is amazing. Pat, the owner of the company brought it into my apartment himself.

I couldn't be happier.

The tank quality looks amazing.

It's all plumbed. Waiting for it to cure.

There should be a Reef2Reef badge for all plumbing done the day the tank arrived, tank leveled, and adding 30 gallons of water :)

Some pics. The plumbing is crude simple. Really hope I don't have any leaks. Used all my unions.
