Been throwing around the idea of selling my Maxspect Razor X and switching to all T5. Not really getting the results I expected like I did with my Maxspect R420R with SPS. Slow growth to none. I see others having great success. I was the first one in the US to get one back in Dec 2017 and I’m just not that impressed to be honest. I gave it a good solid year.
I’ve been looking at the ATI and Giesemann 36” fixtures with 4 or 6 bulb setups. Not really caring whether they ramp up or down and not looking for that “LED pop” anymore. I just want good steady coloration and growth. Maybe at a later date once I see the growth I’m looking for I can add a Reefbrite strip. For a 40 breeder which would be a better choice?, the 4 bulb or 6 bulb?
