Very cool...
I have kept a black ribbon eel in a 75 gallon till I had to get rid of it. It started eating all my fish. I was feeding it live mollies and guppies till he learned to eat frozen food. They are not supposed to be fast enough to catch fish and also have a hard time seeing. They are very hard to get to feed and do better in a full blown reef where they feel compfortable. Again they will eat anything they can catch. They are very secrative and if seen is just the head.

ribbon eels and especially blues have always been on the list of stay away from. They can be very hard to get to eat.

A lfs by be had one for many years in their display tank too.
