i never had a problem with this fish. i have a bunch of zoo's sps shrum's never a problem and i know that they are not reef safe. so no one need;s to tell me that any way's so i got some acan's that set him off now he eat's coral all of them!! now im on the hunt i got lucky and got him in the net but lost him now he's a scarry cat what to do well this was just to let every one know once again don't get a butter fly fish if you have a reef.

lol i think im going through the same thing, nothing serious yet but definitely nipped an acan and now terrorizes my clean up crew. Him and the blue throat (hes mean) will be outta here soon.

wow I have 4 of them in different tanks and 2 of them have acans and lots of lps and I have never had a problem with them, but I know that they can nip at them. good luck on getting him

ya i just got all of my fish freaked out they haven't seen a net for years first off it was easy but now they know the green thing is coming and tell on me this will be a challenge IM going fishing

i got him out !!! moved some of the rock at one end and egg crate he went to that end and put the egg crate in and trapped him done

glad to hear it!

one thing you can try if needed in the future is to leave the net in the tank 24/7 and feed near it. your fish will eventually associate it with food and it should be easy to scoop them up.

thank's ben z this will not happen again!!!!!!!!! did some damage but the stuff he got to will be ok my fish are freaked out morgan is coming over maybe he can show me how to post pic's so i can do a tank build on here
