Hello I treated this copperband with chloroquine phosphate for 14 days then transfered him to sterile tank. During observation I observed these "bumps" almost completely invisible when looking at his side but see them when he faces me I started a prazi treatment in the qt tank. Just need 100% confirmation. He has gotten way more pickier in recent days wondering if this is the cause. Thanks!

Looks like mucus plugs / bacterial turf. Observe and see if it’ll go away on its own.

These are mucus cones and often starts as skin irritation but can be mixed with ich. If these increase in number, often coppersafe at 2.25ppm will resolve issue.

10 mg/L (40 mg/gal) then everyday after 1 mg/L (4 mg/gal) just as humblefish says. He has been looking at himself from a reflection attacking himself. I have now blocked that off and seems to be calm again hopefully they go away soon. I just looked him and seems the same.

I'm not sure how he came up with a standardized redose schedule like that. Chloroquine is broken down biologically, but the rate varies greatly between tanks, and the only way to really know is to measure it with a UV spectrophotometer.

15 mg/l is the sweet spot - 10 mg won't stop active infections and 20 starts to show more toxicity issues.

If the fish's appetite hadn't dropped, I'd be inclined to say this is just mucus plugs due to some irritant, and I'd just watch it. However, with the decrease appetite, something else may be involved... I'm just not sure what.

Here is an article that I did on chloroquine. I stopped using it due to toxicity seen in wrasses and lionfish.
