Coral and invert only tank

I have all my fish out of my display tank in qt due to an outbreak of ich. So I have 7 shrimps and coral left in my display. I am going to be traveling a lot this summer so was thinking of trading the fish in and only keeping the shrimp and coral. Of course I would put some food in the tank for the shrimp and coral every couple days but it wouldn't be near the maintenance of having fish. Would this be alright to do? Or will I encounter problems?

I've done it for 3 months and I didn't need to change the water at all.
Only the every second day feeding, water top up and emptying the protein skimmer.
