Hey Andy… good to see you’re still around although you may give some thought to spacing your updates a little closer together. Ha!
And this one is absolutely unrelated but just my newest little buddy saying hello to everyone! Be well all!
Is that an F12 under the cover?
Opted to add one of the new AI Blades to see if it had enough punch for the fuge. Thus far I'm quite pleased but am still in the ramping it up phase. But as you can see it has great spread and color. Man these things have come a long way...
Crusso,Hey Andy… good to see you’re still around although you may give some thought to spacing your updates a little closer together. Ha!
Like you, I went MIA for about 2.5 years and just came back several months ago. Quite a number of changes in everyone’s life since Covid. One of the big ones in mine is that we finally relocated back to FL and just a little south of you in Cape Coral. Unfortunately, we took a major hit from Ian but that’s a story for another day.
Looking forward to seeing more progress and, hopefully, more frequent updates!
Still a very cool car with a nice V8 in it. Enjoy!McPuff,
Oh I wish. It's a California T but that's another forum entirely
Yeah, most people really do not have much of an idea about the level of destruction and devastation caused by the hurricane. I tell them about it and also explain that Ian was the worst hurricane to ever hit Florida. Even as bad as it was, national news outlets only mentioned it for two days. I believe it’s simply one of life’s events that a person has to experience to fully understand.Crusso,
Oh man, I had no idea you were in Cape Coral. I'm down there all the time as I keep my boat on Pine Island. I hope your house is okay. I work in Lee County and I keep telling people it's been almost 8 months but the damage is still very real. Keep in touch and one of these days as you come this way or I come yours we can connect
Do you mind going into detail as to what the crash was?So it's been quite a while since I posted last. Had the interesting challenge of a major crash about two years ago and while I didn't exactly quit, I certainly did lay off the intensity for a while.
Over the last year I've gotten things back to a much better state although there is still work to be done. One of the things I've come to understand about a tank of this size is that it's never a "set it and forget it" situation. When we first built this set up I made the mistake of having a wood stand built not fully knowing about the water that collected in our garage during major storms - it is after all Florida so shame on me.
Whining aside, it had to be dealt with so I enlisted Chris Benner's help in designing a steel stand that would better withstand the elements and also allow me to expand the refugium component of the system.
So let's take a gander at how you go about replacing a stand without shutting off a system shall we?
