Corals Coloring Down - Before and After Pics

Really? What kind of PAR does 4 bulbs produce? I have 8 on my 215 and have to raise the lights to 10-12" or it will burn corals on the bottom. 500 PAR on the bottom.

Wow, 500 par at the bottom could cook a lot! I'm guessing you're 8 bulb is an 80W unit?

I ran a 6x54w on my 75 and measured par mid 400's at the top and low 200's on the sand.

Right now I have an 8 bulb sunpower on my 75, 6" above the water and see par of 550-600 at the top and high 200's on the sand.

Only reason I suggested lighting, is because his SPS looks as though it's Browning in the photos. Then again, it could also be nutrient levels.

As far as the war coral, that one looks like it's getting lighter in color. It actually might do better in a darker or shaded area of the tank.

I've noticed that T5 par levels do not drop off that drastically through the water column. So while a 4 bulb might not pack a ton of par up top for sps, The par that is carried through might be too much for low light corals such as favia and chalice.

Then again this is all just my opinion.

Yeah at 6" , at the bottom my LED strip probably adds 20-30 PAR I think middle pic was 10":
