So I got a new unused retro setup in a trade and I have a few quick questions.

1. The drivers and PSU are 48v. Is that safe to use or should I swap/upgrade to a 24v system?

2. Do the drivers need to mounted to a heatsink or just cooled by a fan or something?

That's it for now but I'm sure I'll have many more as I get into this project.

Thanks.

The 48V driver will drive twice as many LEDs as a 24V driver.

The driver may not need any additional cooling, depending on where you have it.
