Cucumbers morning constitutional?

This is my black cucumber (I think) , he comes out at night and in the a.m. goes back into hiding. He always leaves a pile of what looks like white poop piles. Is that actually what this is? It almost looks like he eats sand and then deposits a pile on his way back into hiding.

Sorry for such a "crappy" topic before most people eat breakfast. Thanks ahead for any insight or opinions on whats going on here.

Cucumbers ingest sand, eat the yummy bits out of the sand and defecate clean sand. So, yes, its pooping sand :)
