So a couple of more goodies showed up today. A GHL four head doser for my Triton setup and two finnex titanium 300 watt heaters. :)

Lol, all suction cups suck. My eheim jager suction cups are junk after 6 months. I am ordering a dual heater holder. I will post the link to it later.

So the Coralline in a bottle has been in for almost two weeks. I can already see alot of the green starting to get red splotches on it. Hopefully by another month or so it will have really taken off. Regardless, No more bleach white rocks to look at. :)

Love the hood, only question. Is there a way to raise/lower it for maintenance?

Right now it is attached to 2x10's that I have running across the beams in my attic. I can manually raise and lower it there but I plan on looking into motors to raise and lower it remotely. It's on the never ending bucket list. :)

Added a couple of soft ball sized pieces of chaeto to my sump with a mj1200 powerhead to keep it tumbling. Also an orbit marine led for lighting which will run during lights out to help with ph swing.

Recieved the fish around 11 today. So less than 24 hours after they were boxed up. Spent an hour acclimating them to the QT.

They look healthy and have already started eating a mix of seaweed, mysis, blood worms and pellets.

Will monitor for a week and treat with CP at the first sign of ich or velvet.

So far the pbt and yellow are swimming around together staying by each other's side and showing no aggression. Here is to hoping they become best friends once introduced to my dt.

I have some vitamins and some hopefully nice aquarium rockwork to add to their tank tomorrow.

Sorry for the dark pics. I will get some under lights tomorrow once they have settled in.

Love powder blue's! Debating getting one for my tank, but I can never seem to find them small enough.

I ordered the small/medium from liveaquaria. I would say he is probably 3.5 inches and considering he will grow to about 9 inches I'm really happy. He looks nice and healthy also.

Unfortunately I have to buy my live stock sight unseen. I have a petco (I wish they would shut down) and one lfs (that the selection is mediocre at best) to choose from.

I'm so ready to start adding more corals. Just working on keeping my water parameters stable and still agonizing on which direction to go with the lighting. :)

I'm in the same boat. Nearest LFS to me worth the drive is about an hour.

To anyone that ever gets tired of shaking vials I just picked this up. It will be so nice not having to shake my hanna ulr checker vial for two minutes. Not to mention titration tests. I'm lazy. :)
