I wouldnt use chemicals, most people will steer you away from this route as well. Kalk paste, or if you can take the rock out good ol fashioned flames will kill them dead.

Do you have the manual to give the Peppermint Shrimp? I've put them in both my tanks, and neither seem to have read the instruction book.

Peppermint shrimp works wonders... So does lemon juice with a syringe.

Unique corals, a platinum sponsor has berghia. Berghia are simply the most effective cure for aiptasia. All others have much higher limited success rates.

I tried injecting them and it created more, I tried the zapper and it created more.....so I dumped about 7 peppermints and a copperband butterfly in my tank and now there are none that I can see. So my vote would be go natural and stay away from the "over the counter" stuff

If I find one in my tank I inject them with a 18g needlefilled with concentrated calcium chloride. Kills them dead.

Peppermints have always worked for me. They don't get them all but they keep them in check. My bangaii cardinal has a taste for peppermint shrimp and ate them all so I'm starting to see aiptasia pop up again. One or two shrimp won't get the job done I always add about 2 dozen at a time.
