I heard through the grapevine, something about an oval tank design you're planning on. I can see linear water flow with that design, interesting concept. I know it's been done before but the tank looks more like the jellyfish type for these corals. Really anxious to get more of a picture of your tank idea.Sallstrom pay attention he's on to something.

Where are you getting Stereonephthya? I used to keep a few of these years ago, but they seem to have vanished from the hobby (Indonesian coral ban probably has something to do with this, but even the aquacultured ones aren't around anymore). I'd love to get some again.

last ones I got I think it's been 4 months. None lately. Bummer here's a picture, they sent them to me as if they are dendronephthya corals but of course there not.

A little over a month and to me it looks like on the healthy dendronephthya corals I can see atrophy of the polyps not as well defined as in nature. The stalk looks like a trunk of a tree is plump so we'll see what happens. Bummer

Next goal, more filtration, refugium with oysters and macroalgae

This morning I found from the 8 dendronephthya recently that I bought , I found one which was very small but very healthy polyps well define, this one's pretty much a gonner and I'm thinking some kind of chemical warfare between them they don't like to be too close to each other. The larger corals so far show no sign of atrophy, even though the way I bought them the polyps show atrophy but they're still going strong for now. The smaller ones don't seem to farewell with the big ones for talked about the corals. Bummer

April 8 I will receive this fermenter, going to modify for dendronephthya corals. After this tank build, will start on oval tank. Need to see if this cylinder type design will benifit these corals.
