I would probably put together an idea of structure then drop the new rock in sump for a couple/three weeks. Once cured or seeded Id then pull it, assemble it however you plan with cement or acrylic rods then move to display.

You could always take a hammee to the old structure once out of display and drop the pieces back into the sump to be pulled slowly if you’re worried about throwing things out of balance.

Great idea! I put 2 pieces in the sump last night. Unfortunately I’m not going to fit anymore in there. I’m not sure what I’m going to do just yet, but I wanted to have rock in the sump just in case!

How does your sps look at that ALK level? That's where mine look the best to me

That’s a hard question for me to answer because of my struggles, with my eyes they look good. I’m no where near the level of some who can look at a coral and tell what’s going on. I’ve still got a long way to go! Hahaha

Did you check p04 after those 2 caps? I only dose like a half a ml in my 40. To raise it.

I put 1/2 cap in the other day and it didn’t do anything. 2 caps brought it to .09 hahaha

15ml of nitrate didn’t register and high or low nitrates. So another 20ml of nitrate was dosed.

Tested high and low nitrates today both came back zero. Dosed 15ml of the green leaf nitrate. Tested a few hours later with no colors. Dosed 20ml, tested and nothing. Dosed another 15ml and got a little color. Dosed another 20ml and tested low range got great color, tested high range and had little color. So I went ahead and dosed another 20ml. That should put me in the comfort zone.

I’ve been reducing the ATS by 30 minutes a week, may drop it an hour this week.

Kessils we’re bumped up to 72% - I feel pretty good about the progress.

Also for sake of the leather being a problem the toadstool was removed from the tank.

So unfortunately a lot of changes, but I’d like to keep the SPS corals I have a live and see them thrive!

Did a 5 gallon water change yesterday, should have switch to blue bucket a long time ago. Didn’t see an all swing.

Thoughts, suggestions, concerns?

IME, be careful raising intensity of lights with zero nutrients. Sps can handle more light at higher nutrients than zero readings.

Thanks! I’ll keep a close eye on everything. I know I have phosphates and nitrates now, maybe too much phosphate and still working on nitrates!

the corals you got @BoomCorals look amazing. What where the other 3 you got?

Thanks! I don't know what is what and I was lucky enough to keep a picture of the bags and can make out some names -

Cliffs
PC Rainbow
Midnight Blue
Red Robin Stag

I can't see the tag on the 5th piece.

The 5th is my "un named" acro. It's an aussie wild piece I have had for a few months now but not ready to call it "color stable" and name it. It's probably not going to change color much since it still looks the same as the day I got it, but I like to play it safe.

Need to test nitrates and phosphates to see where they are. These pieces are looking good still. Image was tuned with snapseed!

No regerts! Haha Initially I wanted the GHL 2.1 doser because of the 4 pumps. After reading multiple threads about people fighting to get their GHL doser setup it pushed me away. My first DOS was used and a great price so I jumped on it. After getting it setup and how easy it is to use I had to have another!
