Nice lookin mesh top bro I wish I had one for my 29 biocube

Pretty simple to do cost me like $20 and took 10 minutes to make... I bought the mesh froM Acroholic for like $12 shipped and bought a 36x36 window screen frame kit from home depot and slapped it together real quick... Cheap and painless...1smile1 actually don't look bad either on a rimless tank...

Just ordered me a clean up crew from John over at reef cleaners he had a sale going with 15 percent off till tomorrow night... I have zero cleaners in the cube and a grow out coming so I need something to eat the left over food haha... Picked up like 125 various snails and 5 blue leg hermits... I haven't had a crab in years since I nuke my tanks with interceptor as precautionary measures twice a year.... No need to do it for the cube since the corals are coming from my existing display besides the grow out chalices.... It's crazy how the little things get you excited haha....1smile1

Thanks man yeah it's a little overkill but I needed the spread being 30" wide it covers it just about right.... I jut turned all the lighting back since my sticks were lightning up.... Since it was born I ran the LEDs 12hrs the t5s for 10hrs and mh for 8.... Now I backed it to 8hrs led 6hours t5's and only 4 hours on the metal halide.... Hopefully I can get that deep rich color back I was never fan of pastel corals and zeo tanks myself....

Clean up crew has arrived in full force!!!! Man I haven't had cleaners in years haha.... I bought a quick pick for a 70gal tank there must be 300 snails in there easily!!!!:xd: hopefully I can keep them fed...

No way that is enough, go with 2 mp20, preferably one mp40.

nice Cleaners! I ordered from reefcleaners and i was expecting a shipping number email but you have to find it through their site. i was away for the weekend and the tank sitter didnt know there was livestock in the box, they sat their for 5 days!!! i would bet 98% lived it was insane and a miracle that i didnt lose 60$ worth in snails. 1smile1

Only thing I lost was a couple crabs well I only bought 5 and only saw one alive the rest were out of there shells and not moving the snails all made it that I can tell.... Vegas heat is brutal right now so priority mail prolly wasn't the best choice... My plate don't mind thou he caught one of the dead crabs been munching for like 3 hours now must be some good eaten ahahahahah lol....

Depends on the return pump I guess... On my system 2 would prolly do it since I run 3200gph through my return... I would do a closed loop like I did man it's great not having a single pump or wire in my tank it's just super clean... If I didn't use a closed loop I would prolly run 2 mp40s in there even thou the tank looks small it's still 70 gallons and that's a lot of water to push.... Cubes are also tricky to get a good flow dead spots arise very easily..... Just to add this was my first closed loop system and I really love it the flow is great the rocks stay clean and nothing is visible just a win win...;)

Couple new additions added today I picked up a pair of purple firefish and some reef nutrition pods and a couple other of there products to try out.... Stuffs pretty pricey hopefully it makes a difference.... Also got a couple packs of reef caviar1smile1
