nice set up do you think the atb small is too big for your set up ????

For a normal tank prolly... With lots of fish and feedings it does very well... It skims like a champ for me so no complaints there... I might sell it just to get a internal since that's how I'm running it and it takes up a lot of room... In other words I

Time for a tank over haul!!!! I have lost all my sps to every issue known to man including a penny "copper" in my water storage system...:(. Plenty of pics of the resurrection to come!!! Hoping this lights the fire I have lost over the last few months... The pics I take today are not for the weak at heart.. between losing my job, my tank, and selling all my toys to support my family I am actually feeling a lot better and learned a lot over the last 2 months.... Prolly be fish only for a long time until I get back on my feet and get a job... I do have a bunch of lps still including my chalices and the chalices from the grow out I'm in.... I wouldn't think a penny could cause your tank to crash like that. Sorry bro.

Well I had a salinity issue got that corrected and just kept having problems... I tested and tested with nothing out of whack... I was doing big water changes when it started and running tons of carbon with no help... Then I decided to check in my water storage jugs and found this nice corroded copper thing!!!! My signature nem was the first to go so it makes sense.... Literally

well........Here's the question.

How do you suppose it got in there?

I have always been paranoid about copper. Good idea to have a cooper test kit around. If something looks off in my tank and I have ruled out alk I always test for copper next.

That really is a bummer man. Not sure what I'd do I was in your shoes. Once the shock wore off that is.

Wow. Can't even imaging. We feel for you.
