Do!Aqua 7.5g: The Test

The Story: This will be my test tank. It will included the Ryujin Light, Chilled Food Cone Reactor, Media Box and LED's. With Weekly updates to show how the inhabitants and corals react to different scenarios. I will also take a picture a day and compile it after six months to show the growth of the corals. All filtration will be done by water changes and live rock.

Livestock : I will be focusing on small inverts ranging from Bumble Bee Shrimp, Glass Anemone Shrimp, Porcelain Crabs, Trapezia Crabs, Cowrie's and Maxi Minis.

Corals : UFO Micromussa, Blue Polyp Monti Cap, Icefire, Tyree Peace Coral, Tubs Blue Zoas, Blue Tip Stag, Glow Stick Chalice.

The Gear :
  • Chilled Food Reactor
  • MP10
  • Ryujin Light
  • LED

Aquascaping : Bonsai Tree's.

chilled food cone reactor? I'm not at all familiar with that term. I guess the name kind of speaks for itself but please indulge my curiosity!

I am certainly subscribing to the thread!

A DIY project of mine. It will be connected to a dosing pump to pump into the tank. This will feed the tank/corals multiple times a day while keeping the frozen food cool so it wont spoil. :)

I received the rock yesterday and ordered 10 pounds so I can play around with it. I cant believe how much they sent me! It looks like 20+ pounds. I forgot the dremel so I was only able to put two pieces together, all though I see it all in my head now.

The Test - So far this is the aqua scape. I really feel like I nailed the bonsai look and once the corals grow it I will look very unique. I have everything planned out so I know exactly where to mount the corals. There are a ton of overhangs hiding spots for the inverts too. Let me know what you guys think about it. Its really hard to snap pictures to show all the overhangs and branches.

Its not complete but I have put 7+ hours on it now. I am just finishing the last few coats on the panels and shelf's. The pictures dont show the bottom shelf but there is one. The lowest part will be connected by magnets and will hide the equipment. I cant tell you how pleased I am with how its turning out. The middle tank is going to be my secret project :)

Not finished but you get the point. The panels are MUCH more glossy now. It really feels like a ELOS

Enjoy! I hope to finish it tonight.

The move went well! So far so good. I was able to replace the sand bed and do a few other odd's and end's so I am very happy. The stand turned out just how I liked it.

I was able to score a couple frags today at a frag swap...

20+ eyes of WM and a few Tubs True Blues. :D

Stand ( not finished but its looking just how I imagined it! )
