I am wondering if Favia’s will do well in sand or if they’re better on rock? I read that that people who place they’re Favia in higher Places eventually lose colour over time, and to not have it in a high flow area. So I put mine in the sand beside a few rocks. But then I read a thread that said her Favia never grew in the sand...
Opinions?

agree, here's mine, put it on the rock thats partially shaded by rock (the reflected light from glass is enough in my case. The rock also blocks much of the direct strong flow from my nero.

Its been doing fine. (Pic is top down view)
