Drilling through heat sink fin

Ok, I'm not sure if this is a dumb question or not but does anyone think it would be an issue to drill two small holes in this heat sink fin on my maxspect razor x light? I need to mount an led strip to it and I'm trying to come up with easy solutions.

No issues. Its just a mechanical cooling fin so theres nothing inside to damage :)

Ok I figured as much. Thanks for the reply! I have a cube tank and the light doesn't quite give me total coverage, which is why I wanted to add the strip on it.
