Do Duncan corals consume a lot of elements and should I have to dose if I get them even though there in an anemone tank with Xenia or can I just do a water change every week and it’ll keep up with it ?

Ducan corals consume trace elements along with Cal, Alk, and Mag, so just keep up your regular dosing, and they are filter feeders so no need to feed them, but I love my Duncan so much I feed him ReefRoids twice a week, and it just makes him heartier and bigger.

I have one that actually likes to eat chunks of frozen squid when I'm feeding the trigger. It is quite healthy and growing well

Duncans are an lps and have a skeleton so alk calc and mag need to be maintained. They also like to eat. I feed all of mine mysis, pellets, flake foods none of mine enjoy reef roids they tend to slime up and spit it out. They can and will eat larger chunks of food chopped krill, fish, squid, mussels, clam. They are typically quite hardy and can handle a wide range of light and flow, they just need acclimation.
